I sat in a chair
Next to her hospital bed
In the end
“I no longer believe”
Is what she said

Leaning
Against the tile wall
Taking a long hot shower
Scrubbing
Away the dirt
With a new bar of soap
Did not
Remove humiliation
But
Provided
Her
A bit of hope

Frantically
Scratching
At his deformed image
In the mirror
Hyperventilating
He cried
“Please help I need air”
Fallen idol
Emotional bowl of jello
Desecrated soul
Pissed in his own rice bowl
Alone
There are no more calls
No longer the star
Of the Masquerade balls

Husband Who Really Upset Hot Blooded Wife
Pour me some bourbon
I just upset my women
Do you have spare bed?
She wants to chop off my head

The Hermit Poet's Ramblings 
I once photographed a love heart with two sets of initials carved into a rock And I have occasionally seen the same as well as handprints in wet cement. I’ve thought what a great story it might be to research these initials and report what’s happened in their lives Those locks on bridge rail s make me curious too. I once photographed one on an old fence post on a really remote beach sand dune 🤣🤣
