I sat in a chair
Next to her hospital bed

“I no longer believe”

Against the tile wall
Taking a long hot shower
Scrubbing
Away the dirt
With a new bar of soap
Did not
Remove humiliation
But
Provided
Her
A bit of hope

Frantically
Scratching
At his deformed image
In the mirror
Hyperventilating
He cried
“Please help I need air”
Fallen idol
Emotional bowl of jello
Desecrated soul
Pissed in his own rice bowl
Alone
There are no more calls
No longer the star
Of the Masquerade balls

Husband Who Really Upset Hot Blooded Wife
Pour me some bourbon
I just upset my women
Do you have spare bed?

Reminds me of my younger days when my wife and I hiked down into Meteor Crater. An elderly man with 2 canes was hiking past us– both down into and out of the crater. We were exhausted, to which he said, “You young folks will get the hang of it,” We reminisce of that event to this day.
